ABOUT oUR cheer PROGRAM
The East Montgomery County Sports Association Cheerleading program focuses on building confidence, teamwork, and team spirit while supporting our EMCSA football teams throughout the season.
Cheerleaders will learn age-appropriate cheers, chants, motions, and stunts, while developing coordination, leadership skills, and sportsmanship in a positive and encouraging environment. No prior cheer experience is required as our program is designed for both beginners and returning cheerleaders.
Throughout the season, cheerleaders perform sideline cheers at games and participate in team activities. The season concludes with an exciting end-of-season competition, giving EMCSA cheerleaders the opportunity to get a feel for what it would be like to join a competition cheer team while showcasing everything they’ve learned.
EMCSA Cheer is about more than cheering on the sidelines, it’s about growth, confidence, and creating lasting memories in a supportive team atmosphere.
